The Siemens Energy SGT-400 is a durable twin-shaft gas turbine suitable for power generation and mechanical drive applications in the 10 – 15 MW power band, suitable for all climates, onshore and offshore. It boasts operational and fuel flexibility, low emissions, and overall efficiency, with enhancements to rotors and blades as well as a 33% increase in time between overhauls. To date, more than 450 units have been sold, collectively achieving over 11.7 million hours of operation, which demontsrates a class-leading reliability rate of 99%.
With its can-annular design and single-stage combustion system, it efficiently burns a wide variety of fuel types at any load, consistently meeting strict emissions standards—even at low loads—while providing seamless, true dual-fuel operation. Additionally, it is capable of burning up to 65 vol% hydrogen (H2), making it a flexible and efficient solution for diverse applications.
