Starting in 2027, both facilities will offer comprehensive refurbishment capabilities including active part refurbishment/repair, winding replacement, cooling system upgrades, drying, and control cabinet modernization. With advanced infrastructure such as vapor phase ovens, high-capacity cranes, and full-scope testing aligned with IEEE and IEC standards, they ensure precision, quality, and reduced turnaround times.
Charlotte and Linz are supported by a centralized engineering hub, enabling consistent technical excellence and faster project execution. The portfolio spans multi-OEM expertise, digital diagnostics, and circular economy principles, positioning these locations as key pillars in Siemens Energy’s commitment to grid modernization and sustainable asset lifecycle management.
